Heat press, sublimation print, embroidery, applique, hand stitching

    • Any processes
    • and methods you used.
We experimented the different dyes on a piece of paper and put them in the heat press and printed them onto a piece of material and then designed a logo with the word 'crew' we then made these logos on paper and painted them with the dyes and printed them onto another piece of material. After this we did some embroidery on the sewing machine, applique and stitching onto our logo.
We created a colour sample of each of the dynamic dyes on a piece of paper and put it in the heat press and printed it onto a piece of material, then we designed a logo saying 'crew' with a pencil onto another piece of paper and then decorated them with the dynamic dyes and put them in the heat press and printed them onto another piece of material. Afterwards, we placed our material into a wooden hoop around the space we wanted to work onto and did some embroidery work onto our logo, we traced a shape or symbol and flipped it and traced it onto a bondaweb and ironed it onto another piece of material and removed the sticky part of the bondaweb and ironed it onto our logo and we did a normal hand stitching onto our logo.
